This mid-sized, French company was founded in 1986 by Hervé Durand, the current CEO. Seram manufactures ornaments and accessories from raw materials that are Oeko-Tex or REACH certified. Company expertise includes working with textiles, wood, metal, mother of pearl, and PVC.
Seram owns four integrated sites in France, Madagascar, China, and Sri Lanka with a total of 140 employees. The company participates in the Working Conditions Assessment program aimed at improving working conditions and environmental performance.
Using a combination of manual savoir-faire and automated manufacturing techniques, Seram produces 700,000 pieces each day and registers a €17 million turnover. The company’s range of capacities includes hot and cold cutting, laser cutting, embossing, automatic bow making, and bonding.
Products are organised by markets: fashion (lingerie, swimwear, manufacturing), beauty (scent, body care, cosmetics), and food & beverage (wines, spirits, chocolates). Main fashion industry clients include the Chantelle Group, Lise Charmel, Barbara, Eres, Aubade, Princesse tam.tam, Victoria’s Secret, Agent Provocateur, Anita, and Huber Holding.
The minimum for manufacturing orders is 1,000 pieces per colour. Seram also develops customised articles and can produce them in small or large series.
